Foreword by the MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation
This year marks the 12th edition of the Mangaung African Cultural Festival (MACUFE). This festival was designed not only to entertain but it is also government’s vehicle to develop artists in all disciplines; to give exposure to new and unknown artists; to empower SMME’s and to promote tourism in our beautiful province.
MACUFE is counted among the best festivals in the world. It is our pleasure to welcome our foreign and national visitors to the MACUFE Village. This year’s MACUFE showcases the best in music, theatre, crafts and recreation.
